1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Classic Modelling website and submitting content to our publication, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or submit content.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to submit content to Classic Modelling. By submitting content, you confirm that you are 18 years or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Submission Guidelines

3.1 Content Requirements

• All submitted photographs must be high-resolution (minimum 2000px on the longest side)
• No watermarks: Images must be clean and free from any watermarks, logos, or overlays
• Single shoot consistency: All images in a submission must be from the same photoshoot with a consistent look and feel
• You must own the rights to the images or have explicit permission from the photographer
• Photographer consent is mandatory for all submissions
• All individuals depicted must be 18 years or older
• Images should be shared via any cloud platform (WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, etc.) - we do not host or store your files

3.2 Consent & Release Forms

By submitting photographs, you confirm that:

• The photographer has given explicit consent for the images to be submitted and potentially published
• If you are the model, you have the right to submit these images
• If you are the photographer, the model has consented to their images being submitted and published
• You have the authority to grant us the rights outlined in these terms

3.3 Our Release Policy

We do not require or collect model release forms. The consent confirmation you provide when submitting (by checking the required consent boxes) serves as your declaration that all necessary permissions have been obtained.

It is your responsibility to:

• Obtain any necessary permissions from photographers, models, and other parties before submitting
• Maintain your own records of consent between yourself and any other parties
• Ensure all parties are aware their images may be published if selected

Classic Modelling does not manage, verify, or store release forms. By submitting, you accept full responsibility for ensuring you have the right to do so. Any disputes regarding rights or consent are solely between the parties involved in creating the content.

3.4 Credits

We encourage you to provide credits for all contributors including photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, and wardrobe stylists. We will make reasonable efforts to include these credits in any publication.

Credit Updates: Any requests to update or change credits after publication may incur an administrative charge.

3.5 Copyright Responsibility

You are solely responsible for declaring accurate copyright information. By submitting content, you confirm that all copyright details provided are true and accurate. Classic Modelling is not responsible for verifying copyright ownership or resolving any copyright disputes. Any legal liability arising from incorrect or fraudulent copyright declarations remains entirely with the submitter.

4. Rights and Licences

4.1 Your Rights

You retain ownership of all content you submit. We do not claim ownership of your photographs or personal content.

4.2 Licence Grant

By submitting content, you grant Classic Modelling a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

• Review and consider your submission for publication
• If selected, publish your content in our digital and/or print magazine
• Use your content for promotional purposes related to the magazine
• Share your content on our social media channels with appropriate credit

4.3 No Payment for Publication

Classic Modelling is a merit-based publication. We do not charge fees for submission or publication, and we do not pay for content. Selection is based entirely on artistic merit and alignment with our editorial vision.

4.4 Publication Format

Classic Modelling magazine is published via MagCloud. The magazine is available in both digital PDF format and print-on-demand. Successful applicants will be notified ahead of publication and informed which issue their content will appear in.

4.5 Content Removal Policy

Once you consent to publication, your content becomes part of a published work. By submitting content and agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that:

• Published content cannot simply be "unpublished" - it exists in distributed copies (both digital and print)
• You have carefully considered your decision before submitting
• Requests to remove content from already-published editions will incur a minimum administrative fee of $500 USD to cover reprint costs, digital redistribution, and archive modifications
• Payment of this fee does not guarantee removal from all distributed copies already in circulation
• Content will not appear in future editions upon request at no charge

We strongly encourage all submitters to be certain of their decision before submitting. If you have any doubts about appearing in a published magazine, please do not submit.

4.6 Your Data Rights (GDPR)

Your rights regarding personal data are separate from published content:

• You may request deletion of your personal data (contact details, email address, etc.) from our systems free of charge in accordance with GDPR
• Such requests will be processed within 30 days
• This does not affect published magazine content, which is covered by section 4.5 above

5. Selection Process

Our editorial team curates all submissions personally. Selection is based solely on:

• Quality of photography
• Artistic merit and styling
• Alignment with our vintage/pin-up editorial vision
• Diversity of content across each issue

We are not a "pay-for-display" publication. Your submission will never be accepted or rejected based on payment.

6. Communication

We aim to respond to all submissions within 7-14 days. If your submission is selected, we will contact you via the email address provided. We reserve the right not to respond to submissions that do not meet our guidelines.

7. Content Standards

We celebrate vintage glamour and pin-up artistry in all forms. However, we reserve the right to reject any content that:

• Depicts illegal activity
• Contains hate speech or discriminatory content
• Violates the rights of any third party
• Does not meet our quality standards

8. Limitation of Liability

Classic Modelling shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services or submission of content.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Classic Modelling, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your submission of content or breach of these terms.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
